Description
Chamber filter press manufactured by Passavant (year of construction 2007), designed for sludge dewatering. The press is fitted with approx. 58 polypropylene filter plates in 1500 × 2000 mm format, providing a filter area of approx. 286 m², a press volume of approx. 4,660 dm³ and an operating filter pressure of approx. 15 bar. The total weight is 32,900 kg.
Filter cloths can be supplied to suit the medium. Filter presses of this type are discontinuously operating pressure filters for the solid-liquid separation of suspensions.
