Beschreibung
Chamber filter press manufactured by Passavant (year of construction 1995) in overhead-beam design, suitable for sludge dewatering, gravel washing and tunnelling applications. The press is fitted with approx. 94 polypropylene filter plates plus head and end plate in 1200 × 1200 mm format and can be extended by a further 13 plates. It provides a filter area of approx. 270 m², a press volume of approx. 2,480 dm³ and an operating filter pressure of approx. 15 bar.
Pump technology is optionally available and filter cloths can be supplied to suit the medium; a washing unit is not installed. Filter presses of this type are discontinuously operating pressure filters for the solid-liquid separation of suspensions.
