Beschreibung
Chamber filter press manufactured by Passavant (year of construction 2008) in overhead-beam design, designed for sludge dewatering. The press is fitted with approx. 88 polypropylene filter plates plus head and end plate in 1200 × 1200 mm format, providing a filter area of approx. 400 m², a press volume of approx. 2,550 dm³ and an operating filter pressure of approx. 15 bar. The filtrate discharge is closed.
Pump technology is optionally available and filter cloths can be supplied to suit the medium; a washing unit is not installed. Two identical units are in stock. Filter presses of this type are discontinuously operating pressure filters for the solid-liquid separation of suspensions.
