Beschreibung
Mobile dewatering unit based on a Rittershaus & Blecher chamber filter press (machine no. 17100-44), mounted on a semi-trailer and suitable for mobile and temporary sludge dewatering. The press is fitted with 103 polypropylene filter plates in 1200 × 1200 mm format with a cake thickness of 30 mm, providing a filter area of approx. 230 m², a press volume of approx. 3,550 dm³ and an operating filter pressure of approx. 15 bar.
The unit features automatic plate transport, cake discharge via a screw conveyor and a control cabinet. Pump technology is optionally available and filter cloths can be supplied to suit the medium. Filter presses of this type are discontinuously operating pressure filters for the solid-liquid separation of suspensions.
